Repsol, S.A. is a global integrated energy corporation, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, and established in 1927. Its operations span the entire energy value chain, structured into three primary segments. The Exploration and Production division focuses on the discovery, development, and extraction of crude oil and natural gas reserves worldwide. The Industrial segment manages refining operations and petrochemical manufacturing, in addition to the trading and transportation of crude oil and petroleum products. This segment also handles the sale, transport, and regasification of natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Through its Commercial and Renewables segment, Repsol generates low-carbon power, invests in renewable energy sources, sells gas and electricity, provides mobility solutions, distributes oil products, and engages in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) activities. Beyond these core business areas, Repsol offers a broad range of specialized products and services. The company produces and markets asphalt, lubricants, biofuels, and various chemical products. The company changed its name to Repsol, S.A. in May 2012, having previously operated as Repsol YPF, S.A.
