Lundin Gold Inc. is a Vancouver-based Canadian mining enterprise established in 1986. Its primary focus is on extensive exploration and development assets in Southeast Ecuador, where it controls rights to roughly 64,270 hectares. These holdings include 27 metallic mineral concessions and three construction material concessions. The company's most significant asset is the Fruta del Norte gold project, an operation comprising seven concessions across approximately 5,566 hectares, located near the city of Loja in Ecuador. Originally known as Fortress Minerals Corp., the firm officially changed its name to Lundin Gold Inc. in December 2014.
